Collection: Ron Chavis

In the early 2000s, Ron Chavis found himself immersed in the world of film, working on several sets, including one Oscar winner. However, his true passion wasn’t confined to the silver screen. During this period, he was performing original material—not with billets, but on a guitar. By 2002, Ron had delved into the realm of mentalism, and by the following year, he was performing wherever he could. His persistence paid off in 2004 when he secured a weekly gig at a reputable establishment, allowing him to refine his skills before diverse audiences.

In 2009, Ron co-founded a private forum for mentalists and readers, a venture that thrived for nearly a decade. Two years later, in 2011, he released his debut piece, Words in the Sand, which made a significant impact on many top names in the industry. In 2016, Ron launched the short-lived but influential Mystic Descendant publication. This work showcased much of his own material but also highlighted contributions from mentalists around the world.

Since then, Ron has focused on creating custom effects and structuring shows for other mentalists. Although he hasn’t performed professionally in several years, he plans to make a return on a smaller scale in the near future. He continues to develop effects for himself and others and looks forward to releasing more material soon.

In his free time, Ron cherishes moments with his wife and daughter and enjoys reading his Bible.
