The Switch and Read

The Switch and Read is my attempt at creating a “Switch Worker’s Center Tear”—a choreography that would let me read minds in a way that is direct, yet fully impromptu, and gives me significantly more time to read than a peek or center tear would.

Here are some of my favorite routines built on top of it:

• The 1.5 Billet Test: They write something, you pocket it, and reveal it. That’s it!
• Mind Vault: The heist way to your participant’s mind! This comes with several moments of mind reading and a built-in process suitable for psychics as well as psychologists.
• A Telephone Drama: My version of Annemann’s famous effect, revealing a name and phone number one digit at a time, with no memory work! This presentation is classic for a reason.
• A Secret for a Secret: Perform a ritual, tear a piece of paper, and get to know someone’s most intimate secrets—for a price. This comes with an alternative presentation by writer, comic book author, and very bizarre magician D.H.P. Gastelum!
